1. Check the phone takes an eSIM and is unlocked. Dial *#06# and look for an EID beside the IMEI.
2. Buy and install before you fly, while you still have Wi-Fi — installing needs a connection you will not have in an arrivals hall.
3. On landing in Kuwait, switch data roaming on for the travel eSIM and leave your normal SIM’s roaming off.
